Description |
Hypergrove Engineering, Inc. was founded in October 1999 by John McClure, a 25-year veteran
in database systems design and product development, and an industry expert in applications of
the Extensible Markup Language (XML). John is past chair of the Legal Dictionary
Workgroup and past co-chair of the Legal Contracts Workgroup within LegalXML.org, a group
creating XML schema for the legal profession in general, and the court system in particular.
His vision of interweaving the execution of real estate contracts with project
management software both on and off the Web is the focus of Hypergrove's mission -- to build
XML-based software solutions that cross-serve the real estate and legal communities.

Design Work |
Hypergrove has been employed by firms and organizations in both the
residential and commercial real estate sectors. The core of our work has been designing
an XML namespace for commercial real estate investors, owners,
managers, and vendors. See Software Development, for
more details about our work for the Data Consortium. Learn more about the Data
Consortium Namespace (DCN) on their website: www.dataconsortium.org.
|
Product Development |
Hypergrove Engineering is also developing an XML-based software product,
InterWiki Explorer, that utilizes the Legal-RDF namespace to warehouse, organize,
analyze and report real estate-related information on the Microsoft desktop.
Currently, real estate professionals must turn to separate software applications to perform
required real estate functions – for example, property management software, accounting
software, or reporting software. Information collected from various sources and in various
formats can’t easily be aggregated. Many times, information must be re-entered manually
to produce one workable database, a process that invites errors. Hypergrove's InterWiki Explorer
will provide integrated real estate functions within Microsoft Windows, the software
environment in which most real estate professionals operate most of the time, and it will
do so with data from various sources and formats.
Hypergrove is seeking investment capital to complete product development and marketing.
Interested investors who would like to see a business plan should contact
John McClure.
